Your going to want a set of "pickle forks", a cutting torch (in case things get rough), a ball joint press, wd40, a floor jack, a good two or three hours to devote to the job, a grease gun, a Haynes, Ford, Mitchell or Chiltons manual, a good set of impact sockets, an impact wrench, and a good set of hand tools.
I have a lift in my shop, so doing this stuff isn't too bad, If you post your progress with anything that stumps you I'm sure someone here will be able to give you a pointer.
