Ford Mustang The Mustang remains one of the most widely recognized, respected, and desired nameplates in the automobile business. The Ford Mustang defined the pony-car segment in 1964; Plymouth's Barracuda may have beaten Ford to the showroom by 16 days, but it was the Mustang that set the sales records. The 'Cuda is gone now leaving Ford's pony to prance alone.

Default 5.0 Questions

my sister got her 1994 5.0 hot and ran it hot so we are pretty sure that the heads are warped or cracked and who knows what else.

So my dad has a 89' lincoln town car with a 5.0 with 70k miles on it so what are the chances we could swap everything over to the lincoln block an heads?

any ideas and advice or plan of attack would be greatly appreciated

Thanks Merlin-

thanks but it looks like we got lucky cause the car seems to run good.

except for problems that were happening before the overheating.

problems like running poorly after extended highway driving,

the car has aftermarket headers and no cats so i think that there might be a problem with the O2 sensor but not for certain.
