Question 02' v6 Mustang Check Engine Light + Jerking
My check engine light just started flashing and when driving up any incline
my car would jerk and seems to struggle up the incline...the light went off
and then came back on and now it stays on constantly rather than flashing..
What are the possible problems with it?? Its only been like that one day...

It is miss firing. Go get the codes read at a parts store that does it for free.What is the mileage ?

What parts stores will do it for free?? Like Autozone? Or OReilly?

It has about 106,000 miles....what is misfiring? So it could be any number
of things?? I know its also due for an oil change...

Yes they will check for free.You are due for sparkplugs an sparkplug wires,that is probably what is misfiring.

Thanks, I will check it out..I think I changed the spark plugs
last year...but not the wires..

well I went to autozone and it said misfire on sparkplug 1

Turns out I needed a new coil pack and now it runs great!! The engine
light has not gone off yet though...

Hello there buddy..You might be experiencing some kind of wiring and battery problems..The lights are vital ford parts. You really need to check them regularly.
