Actually it is not the same? The 351 is taller ,wider ,and 100lbs heavier than the 302. Spark plug changing on the 351 in a Fox Body is fun ,fun ,fun ,lol! |

| I have done 302 and 351w swaps....mostly the same. I even have done it with the use of a inline six K-member. People said it could not be done especialy with easy to find parts and NO fabrication needed. |

The Cleveland is a giant piece of crap! unless you plan on running it above 4000RPM you'll lag like a mother. the 351 Windsor is much smaller than the Cleveland.
I'm doing the same in my FEARmont, and it's so much easier than you people are making it sound. |

| Have you ever drove a vehicle with a 4v cleveland? Back when I worked at the parts store a fellow co-worker swapped a 4v cleveland into his 85' f150. One day when my car was down and out he let me take his truck out for lunch.
All said and done.. FORGET THE CRAP ABOUT THE 351C NOT HAVING ANY TOURQE. The truck had 2.73's and an AOD with a factory convertor. The truck ran great and pulled great in town. I have never ever drove a truck that moved like that. I would even say that the truck could pull a trailer up to its rated GVRW and do just fine.
If you haven't actually drove a car with a 351c 4v then don't knock it. They aren't that bad for a street car. With the market expanding into newer heads and aussie heads things are only going to get better for these engines. The truth is canted valves and semi hemi heads trump the windsor any day on all fields.

| actually my '69 BOSS 302 has 4v Cleveland heads. that's one of the few things that made it the BOSS. I wasn't knocking it, i just wanted to point out that it isn't practical for street use in a fox...

Isn't your 69' boss very streetable? If so then why is it unstreetable in a fox chassis?

| it's in a Framed 69 fastback Mustang, not unibody/ subframes... wouldn't the 351Cleveland put out too much torque for the fox chassis?
i do a lot of "bench racing" just so you know where some of the crap that comes out of my comp is from... sometimes it leads to freaking amazing finds...

| 69's never had a frame, the mustang has been unibody from day one. unless you've weld a frame in its about the same structural integrity as a fox. a notchback or maybe a hatch back would probably even be more rigid than you 69'
