Angry Radio displays the word BAD
I have 1996 Ford Cobra and the radio stopped working. The CD player works but I cannot control the volume. The radio when you turn it on diplays the word BAD and does not work at all.
Any Suggestions

Hey, Go to best buy my buddies got a 1999 35th anneversary edtion and his cd player was junk The installer at best buy said that all ford cd players of that type are garbage

if my radio displayed the word BAD on it, i'd get a portable cd player with batteries and put it in my backseat. That's too funny, lol... best buy has some good stuff.
I just got a Pioneer cd player with an AUX hookup, i really like it and pioneers last forever. they also do installation for $50/hr (in Roch., MN) well worth it.

Something may be malfunctioning with the security of the vehicle, maybe you need a new harness for it, as the car doesn't seem to be accepting the radio that you have.

It is an old vehicle and things tend to wear..
