BMWBrian is on a distinguished road
Default FS: 2.3L cam, lifters, rockers, timing set, etc.

Rebuilding or just freshing up your 2.3L X-code Tempo or Topaz?
Up for grabs are brand new in-the-box Melling old stock cam-related parts, including some easily-overlooked detail parts.
Some of the part numbers have slightly changed since these were boxed up in 1998, but be assured that they are correct for your VIN code X car.
I tried to get current list prices for these parts, but many of these parts are no longer available at retail outlets, as far as I can tell. The only gauge I have for what these parts are worth is from the catalog that I have, and the accompanying Stocking Jobber Net Price Schedule.
The prices shown here are the jobber net list price from 98, which means that these were the prices that your local jobber (repair shop) would pay back in '89, and then mark up the price for the customer. Obviously, retail price at the parts store was/is significantly higher than what the jobber paid.

Included:
Hydraulic Camshaft & Lifter Kit with Mell Lube CL-SYB-48 $126.24
Timing Kit (Timing Chain & Iron Gears) 3-505S $37.09
Timing Chain Tensioner BT127 $10.27
Rocker Arms MR-710 $4.37 x 8 = $34.96
Rocker Arm Pivots MRM-1776 $0.75 x 8 =$6.00

Jobber Net Total in 1998 $214.56

So, easily worth over $200, I'll let these go for $100 plus shipping.

PLEASE CALL OFF THE LIST, AS I AM NOT A REGULAR HERE. THANX

Sorry I can't show you a picture of the cam, but the Cam/Lifter Box is sealed with glue, and that's the way it's staying until you open it. Hope you understand
