Default T56 behind a 302

Anyone have any good resources for putting a T56 behind a 302? I'm running a C4 right now but have a line on a T56. What would be a good price to offer? I don't think it is really a very involved swap. Anyone disagree?

Clutch linkage, flywheel, shifter, and other odds and ends, but it shouldn't be over your head.

You may want to consider using a hydraulic system to throwout the clutch fork rather than running linkage.

I'm waiting for some info from McLeod on the parts required. It isn't quite as easy as I'd first thought because the T56 is out of a '94 Camaro. I initially thought it was a direct bolt onto a T5 bellhousing. Some say it is but others say it isn't. Either way, everyone seems to be in agreement that the input shafts are different lengths.

Check out Jegs or Summit. They offer a McLeod adapter (about $330 I think). The adapter as I understand it lets you bolt the GM t56 to your Ford bellhousing. You will likely need to have the LS1 input shaft installed in the t56 as it will have the LT1 input and they are different lengths. Then you can use your flywheel and pressure plate with a GM clutch disc. I agree that using a hydralic throw-out may simplify that part of the conversion. Also, you may want to consider using the t-bird turbo coupe pedals as I think those t-birds use hydralic T.O. system.....even then still requires a little adapting.......
