 00 F350 PS Turbo
I have 108K mi on my truck and tow a 33' 5th. I just had my 3rd O/H (last 2 under warranty) since Oct 07 and it keeps blowing the center seal. I am thinking of buying a new high output turbo. I've gotten mixed feedback on what to do. I've heard:
1. Garrett's HP increase on the site is if several items are upgraded.
2. The Garrett GTP38R bearing turbo has no warranty and the HP increase is minimal.
3. The GTP38 bushing turbo gives the same HP and a little slower spooling than above with a 1 year warranty and $400 less.
4. Anyone use a Turbonetics Turbo? Results?
5. Anyone use a BD Turbo? Results?
