Hey im looking for a good 302 setup like boring it out and everything i'm looking for alot of hp for as little money as i can. I'll take any setups you kno plz.
the few steps i took for my 360 fe was to take it to my local machine shop and have the entire block blue printed, this included a .030 boring and honing, the crank chaecked for tolerance and then rebalanced, new pistons(odviosly), rods checked for tollerance, a new timing chain, oil pump, a cam, hydrolic lifters, all new bearings, both heads milled down a few thou, the valves reground and reseated, and new guides. i dont know how many miles your 302 has but if its been used and abused, my first line of fire is to get the engine moving as freely as possible, the lack of friction is more HP! oh, and it was all done for a little under 1500 bucks,
I don't think its a bad deal?
