I got a 93 t-bird lx, v6, non sc and was wondering if it would be possible/a good idea to do a posi rear end. Also wanted to do 3.73 gears. Any ideas would be helpfull. Thanks guys

A posi rear is definitely better in snow. Have you had the car for a number of years and had problems in the snow with it?
I'm guessing that it will cost 30% of what the car is worth.

I would highly recammend the posi. About a year ago know, I bought a 89 Ford Crown Vic that has 4:10's and a posi, I love it. It doesn't do bad in the snow for a big car that is rear wheel drive. It would do a lot worse with a limited slip. The only bad thing is that if the back tires do brake loose, the car will want to go sideway's. This could be fun if your trying to get it to do this, or if not, it could be a bit scary. I experianced this once going threw a intersection on a wet day. The car decided to break loose as I was trying to hurry threw the intersection. So I found myself going sidways down a narrow road with cars in the other lane and a car pulling behind me.
