Ford Pick-Up Ford Pickup Trucks - 1948 thru 1979 1948 was the year that Ford introduced the "F" prefix for use in designating the load capacity of its lighter duty trucks. The 1/2 ton was called an F-1, the 3/4 ton truck was referred to as an F-2 and the F-3 designation meant a one ton carrying capacity Pickup. The "F" series continued through F-8 for heavy duty trucks.

Default entry pad codes

supposedly the factory code is located in two places: on the owner card which came with the vehicle warrant package. Why the hell anyone takes the card out and leaves the other items is beyond me, must use it to jimmy door locks in motels ot r something.

The other secret spot is a label on the computer module. More secret than the number is the damn location of that module. It's like spy/counter-spy it's hidden away so closely that no one seems to be able to tell I don't know how many owners of used F150's where it is and how to look at the 5 numbers there upon. These guys must all be working for a Ford dealership where they can--for a price--stick their little prob into the brainbox and read the number for you easily.

It would probably be easier to get answers from NASA than several Ford sites I have searched. MAYBE THERE REALLY ISN'T A COMPUTER MODULE, JUST A TEASE BY FORD.
