Ford Pick-UpFord Pickup Trucks - 1948 thru 1979
1948 was the year that Ford introduced the "F" prefix for use in designating the load capacity of its lighter duty trucks. The 1/2 ton was called an F-1, the 3/4 ton truck was referred to as an F-2 and the F-3 designation meant a one ton carrying capacity Pickup. The "F" series continued through F-8 for heavy duty trucks.
Thought I'd swap em out and come to find out one of those things decided to swell up on me. Now it's stuck in the threads, and top half came off. What do I do?
is the glow plug loose, if so you could try spraying intake cleaner on it and hope it goes through the threads, let it soak then spray again and let it soak, it may take awhile. its carbon build up on the tip of the glow plug.
if it does not work you may have to remove the head or intake.
