Ford Pick-Up Ford Pickup Trucks - 1948 thru 1979 1948 was the year that Ford introduced the "F" prefix for use in designating the load capacity of its lighter duty trucks. The 1/2 ton was called an F-1, the 3/4 ton truck was referred to as an F-2 and the F-3 designation meant a one ton carrying capacity Pickup. The "F" series continued through F-8 for heavy duty trucks.

Default college student needing infor. for project
i am a college student in British Columbia Canada and am doing a HUGE presentation about the f.150 tomorrow. I am almost completed but need some further information. first off, how many f.150's sold in canada/BC in feburary and in 2006 and any detail about the fuel effiency of the engine and detail about the engine ( i dont know much about how engines work, at all) If anybody out there could point me to any websites, itd be very appreciated. thanks for your time if you respond to this message

um try the ford canada website, youll get some info on the fuel mileage of the f-150s, theyll give you the fuel mileage on the v6 and v8, this link Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited will bring you straight to the f-150 page
