Ford Pick-UpFord Pickup Trucks - 1948 thru 1979
1948 was the year that Ford introduced the "F" prefix for use in designating the load capacity of its lighter duty trucks. The 1/2 ton was called an F-1, the 3/4 ton truck was referred to as an F-2 and the F-3 designation meant a one ton carrying capacity Pickup. The "F" series continued through F-8 for heavy duty trucks.

I've just purchased a 1997 F250. I wish to purchase new tires. My Dad says I must get Kumho brand, but a service station dude said he used to like them but they changed and now he prefers Cooper. Any opinions and/or suggestions?

i'd go with goodyear tires myself. they last longer and they got good waranties with em. if your looking for good all terrain tires get the bfgoodrich. they look sharp, last long, and are great on and, most important, off the road.
