Ford Pick-Up Ford Pickup Trucks - 1948 thru 1979 1948 was the year that Ford introduced the "F" prefix for use in designating the load capacity of its lighter duty trucks. The 1/2 ton was called an F-1, the 3/4 ton truck was referred to as an F-2 and the F-3 designation meant a one ton carrying capacity Pickup. The "F" series continued through F-8 for heavy duty trucks.

Default 97 f150 Looking for location for headlight Relay

97 F150 The headlights are going out in the truck. You can get the lights on sometimes by flicking the lights from high to low many times. I bought a relay for the lights, but can not find the location of the relay on the truck. Can anyone help? Thanks

if the relay does not work you may won't to check the wiring to the multi-function switch (turn signal switch) there is a wire from it that comes loose from the connector and when you tilt the wheel they work.
