Ford ProbeThe Probe appeared in 1988 and lasted until 1997 in the United States. It was based on a series of futuristic concept cars of the early 1980s, the likes of which have been seen in films like Judge Dredd, Back to the Future Part II and Total Recall. It was a coupe based on the Mazda GD platform, and was powered by a 2.2 L SOHC I4 cylinder Mazda F2 engine.
I replaced the head gasket on a 1995 2.0L and set the timing marks. The car will start and run using starter fluid, but will not continue to run. The fuel pump is working, and there is pressure at the fuel rail. The car ran fine before the head was replaced. Help.
Phantom. Help. I cannot figure out what is causing the fuel to be shut off from the injectors. The fuel pump whirls and there is pressure in the line at the fuel rail. Is the crank sensor the only thing that can cause this?
