Ford Probe The Probe appeared in 1988 and lasted until 1997 in the United States. It was based on a series of futuristic concept cars of the early 1980s, the likes of which have been seen in films like Judge Dredd, Back to the Future Part II and Total Recall. It was a coupe based on the Mazda GD platform, and was powered by a 2.2 L SOHC I4 cylinder Mazda F2 engine.

Default 93 Probe GT CTS (Coolant Temp Sensor) ??

I just did the trouble code check that one of the members told me how to do without the computer adapter. The only code that keeps flashing is 9 short flashes. It will pause for a couiple of seconds and then flash 9 short flashes again. That is the only flashes it will do, 9 short flashes. I looked that up and it says the Coolant Temperature Sensor is the problem. Will this cause the engine to surge as the engine warms up. If this sensor is sending the wrong information, what type of problems will it create (ie, surging, stalling, etc) Thanks.
