Ford Probe The Probe appeared in 1988 and lasted until 1997 in the United States. It was based on a series of futuristic concept cars of the early 1980s, the likes of which have been seen in films like Judge Dredd, Back to the Future Part II and Total Recall. It was a coupe based on the Mazda GD platform, and was powered by a 2.2 L SOHC I4 cylinder Mazda F2 engine.

Default 93 GT Check Engine code
I have a 93 GT V6 with a 5 speed manual trans. When I accelerate to just over 60 mph the "check engine" light goes on. I checked the trouble code and it is number 17. At the following website it lists this as "cfi fuel control system fault or rich/lean condition indicated"
FORD 1983-1995 OBD1 Decoder
I've also checked another source that says this code is a problem with an oxygen sensor.
Has anyone else had this problem? What's my next step?

Replace your O2 sensor and the code should go away.
