Ford Probe The Probe appeared in 1988 and lasted until 1997 in the United States. It was based on a series of futuristic concept cars of the early 1980s, the likes of which have been seen in films like Judge Dredd, Back to the Future Part II and Total Recall. It was a coupe based on the Mazda GD platform, and was powered by a 2.2 L SOHC I4 cylinder Mazda F2 engine.

Default neutral safety switch question help me please

I own a 89 ford probe gl and I have had to replace the starter and neutral safety switch. I was able to find a compatible switch from a 92 mazda 323 in a wrecking yard. My old man and I wired the nss from the mazda (a six wire) into a four wire to match the probe. The car starts fine but I am now without the use of all my gauges and the coolant fan. I was wondering if anyone knows any tricks or tips to help out here. I dont want to pay the 300 bucks for the factory/aftermarket switch ( cheapskate I know) If I can get away with it. I am also having an issue trying to install a cd player as well. Any info and help would be great thanks.
