Ford Probe The Probe appeared in 1988 and lasted until 1997 in the United States. It was based on a series of futuristic concept cars of the early 1980s, the likes of which have been seen in films like Judge Dredd, Back to the Future Part II and Total Recall. It was a coupe based on the Mazda GD platform, and was powered by a 2.2 L SOHC I4 cylinder Mazda F2 engine.

hi guy's i have a 94 ford probe been going great till run out of fuel?

Naturally,filled up with fuel reset fuel cutout switch in boot(trunk) and now starts runs but won't accept heavy throttle?/fast but will accept revs slowly

we are getting code 26 from ecu (purge tank solenoid) and if anybody replies check solonoid? where is it lol

p.s. had funny smell cominng from rear left wheel arch which smelt like plastic crossed with grease?

You probably picked up debris from the tank. Replace the fuel filter.

pull the injectors and clean them and also try runnin pressurized air through the fuel rail that might help too
