Ford Probe The Probe appeared in 1988 and lasted until 1997 in the United States. It was based on a series of futuristic concept cars of the early 1980s, the likes of which have been seen in films like Judge Dredd, Back to the Future Part II and Total Recall. It was a coupe based on the Mazda GD platform, and was powered by a 2.2 L SOHC I4 cylinder Mazda F2 engine.

Angry 93 PROBE GT Drivers' Side Power Door Lock Wiring Not Working

This is my first post and I have an interesting scenario to present. I have a 93gt and my power door lock switch does not work. The remote with lock/unlock and panic button will open both sides lock and unlock. My window and mirror switches both work on driver's side. My lock/unlock/window works on the passenger side. I had a technician work on the wires for over two hours but he could not get the switch to work. By the way, I pulled the switch and put it in another probe and the locks worked. I tried the switch from the other vehicle on mine and it did not work. Thus, I assume that I am left with a wiring problem. I need to get the door lock fixed to pass the inspection in Sask. Any suggestions? It is the last hoop I need to jump through and then I can get back to life in the (fast) Probe Lane.
