Ford Probe The Probe appeared in 1988 and lasted until 1997 in the United States. It was based on a series of futuristic concept cars of the early 1980s, the likes of which have been seen in films like Judge Dredd, Back to the Future Part II and Total Recall. It was a coupe based on the Mazda GD platform, and was powered by a 2.2 L SOHC I4 cylinder Mazda F2 engine.

Default Key help?

New to the board and Im here with a little problem.

I was using my key to open the hatch and it ended up bending the key a little bit. I fixed it to the point where now it opens the doors but it wont get fully in the ignition. Now I found the credit card key, but that doesnt open my doors or anything..it feels like itll break apart if I really even tried. However, theres a number on the key..is there any way I can get it made from that somehow? or is there any way the slightly misaligned key can be remade?

I bought this car from another owner who had no spare, so Im out of luck here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A locksmith can cut a key from the depth code, that is it doesnt trace your old key.
