Ford Probe The Probe appeared in 1988 and lasted until 1997 in the United States. It was based on a series of futuristic concept cars of the early 1980s, the likes of which have been seen in films like Judge Dredd, Back to the Future Part II and Total Recall. It was a coupe based on the Mazda GD platform, and was powered by a 2.2 L SOHC I4 cylinder Mazda F2 engine.

Codemonkey17 Junior Member Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 5	Heating/Air Conditioning Problem I'm currently running into another problem on my probe. The climate control unit in the dash has the dial for the fan its a variable dial, not one with presets, however it doesn't function quite correctly. It will be off at the off position (up) and only engages the blower motor and "Max" all the way down. I'm not sure if its the entire unit as the Climate control unit is built sort of like a stereo and its all in a single unit. Or i have heard that it could possibly be a resistor somewhere in between the unit and the blower motor. Anyone out there that could help me with this one? Help would be greatly appreciated as winter will be here shortly and i'd like to have my heater functioning correctly.
