Ford Probe The Probe appeared in 1988 and lasted until 1997 in the United States. It was based on a series of futuristic concept cars of the early 1980s, the likes of which have been seen in films like Judge Dredd, Back to the Future Part II and Total Recall. It was a coupe based on the Mazda GD platform, and was powered by a 2.2 L SOHC I4 cylinder Mazda F2 engine.

Try EBay or any major Auto Part store.

stefcraw,
try following the instruction in the above link. You don't need a scan tool for your car. This is really cool because you can be anywhere, and pull trouble codes if your car breaks down, without any specialized tools. All you need is a short piece of wire... maybe just a paperclip.
The codes will be flashed to your dashboard check engine light.
The instructions are clear if you know how to do it, and are a little confusing at first, but if you try it, they will then suddenly make sense.

If the instructions aren't clear and you need help with them let me know.
I re-wrote a Tutorial on how to pull OBD I codes from Fords 1985-1995 with out a code scanner. Your's is even easier.
