Electrical Problems - 1996 Probe GT

Hello everybody. I have a 1996 ford probe and it runs excellent. have taken it from california and texas and back this past march. the problem is starting. i had it checked and they said it was the starter so i replaced that. sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesn't. i have to get a jump and it will run again for awhile. i had it checked again and they said it was the wiring because during the check when the door opened it would show pulling on the battery. it would cost 600+ to remove the dash and fix the wiring or 300 to i forgot. i'm a female. this is a really beautiful car and running car but I don't think i'll put any more money into it. if anyone could tell me what that may be i'd be happy. otherwise i'll probably let it sit. i'd feel too guilty to sell knowing the owner would have the same problem and no doubt it would start and run good.

i had that problem mine was the intake manifold gasket/vacuum leak
