Ford ProbeThe Probe appeared in 1988 and lasted until 1997 in the United States. It was based on a series of futuristic concept cars of the early 1980s, the likes of which have been seen in films like Judge Dredd, Back to the Future Part II and Total Recall. It was a coupe based on the Mazda GD platform, and was powered by a 2.2 L SOHC I4 cylinder Mazda F2 engine.
I am in the process of replacing the entire exhaust system on my 1997 Ford Probe GT. I bought stainless steel headers, a performance cat, and a performance cat-back exhaust.
On the stock system, there were a total of 3 Heated O2 Sensors. One in each exhaust manifold, and one before the cat. There were none after the cat, which sort of surprised me.
On the new system, there is only a place for one heated O2 sensor in each manifold. Is this going to be a problem, or will it be ok? I know there will be no feedback to the health of the catalytic converter, but will it screw up the computer?
Take it to a shop and have them weld in a bung for the O2 sensor.

Do your self a favor and try some dedicated gas

then throwing parts at a problem that doesn't throw
