Ford Probe The Probe appeared in 1988 and lasted until 1997 in the United States. It was based on a series of futuristic concept cars of the early 1980s, the likes of which have been seen in films like Judge Dredd, Back to the Future Part II and Total Recall. It was a coupe based on the Mazda GD platform, and was powered by a 2.2 L SOHC I4 cylinder Mazda F2 engine.

try checking the fuel injectors... Or just buy some fuel injector cleaner let it run thru and if it makes any improvements you may need to replace them... fuel filter is also very possible. Did you try switching gas stations cause you cld be getting really crappy gas too.

Mine has gotten so bad that when it starts cutting out, I can't get the car over 40 miles an hour. Changing the tanks out today.

White smoke means coolant is getting into the cylinders and burning, which means a blown head gasket or worse, a crack block or cylinder head.
