Ford Probe The Probe appeared in 1988 and lasted until 1997 in the United States. It was based on a series of futuristic concept cars of the early 1980s, the likes of which have been seen in films like Judge Dredd, Back to the Future Part II and Total Recall. It was a coupe based on the Mazda GD platform, and was powered by a 2.2 L SOHC I4 cylinder Mazda F2 engine.

Default Can't Find Parts...

I just bought a 1989 Ford Probe GT which is in great shape but with a couple of minor issues...

I need a right side door handle which got broken in the commission of a break-in while in the possession of the previous owner thereby the passenger side door cannot be opened from the outside.

Also I'm looking for a right side door mirror hood which is also broken. I don't actually need the mirror itself as it works fine electrically, although I'm not sure if it's possible to just change the hood or if I'll need to buy the whole assembly...??

I've been searching the internet extensively for these two items, unfortunately with no success.

I live in a rural area and don't have immediate personal access to any substantial auto recycling depots. It appears that none of the recyclers in the city nearest to me inventories such items for online access.

If anyone here knows where I might find these two items online I would be most appreciative if you could let me know...

TIA
Cheers
