Default 1966 Ranchero compared to Falcon Wagon

I am working on a 1966 Ranchero that has been converted from automatic to a later 6 cyl stick. I intend to replace the current motor/trans with a 200 ci six with auto trans from a 1966 Falcon fordor. My Ranchero has 5 lug wheels.
Does anyone happen to know if the 1966 Ranchero is mechanically the same as the 1966 Falcon station wagon?
Were the same options (except for the trim of course) offered for the Ranchero as was offered for the Falcon station wagon?
Does the shop manual put out by Ford for the 1966 Falcon, Mustang, and Comet cover the 1966 Ranchero or is there another manual especially for the Ranchero? I am told there is no mention of the Ranchero in the Falcon shop manual.
Thanks for replies.

Wagon/Ranchero, same chassis platform, same vehicle. The 66 Falcon Ranchero is also the same as a 67/68 Fairlane Ranchero (different front sheet metal and tail lights).

You can find what you need to know about the Ranchero in the shop manual by using the info for the wagons.
