Variations based on the original 1960 US Falcon for home markets in Argentina and South Africa were produced through the late 1980s. A total of 508,355 units were produced.
I just purchased a 78 Ranchero (not a GT) to fix up for my son. I have been trying to find some info on it and someone told me it was a Thunderbird Ranchero due to the fact that it has hide-away headlights with the Thunderbird emblem on them (original). The car is straight with very minor rust, but someone dropped a 460 in it. Not sure if we are keeping it or going to go back original. Any help with manuals or any info would be greatly appreciated.
