Ford Ranchero The Ford Ranchero was a coupe utility produced between 1957 and 1979 based on full-size, compact and intermediate automobiles by the Ford Motor Company for the North American market. Variations based on the original 1960 US Falcon for home markets in Argentina and South Africa were produced through the late 1980s. A total of 508,355 units were produced.

Default 73 ranchero gt here need some help

hello everyone i am new to this site here, i have story for this ranchero, my dad bought this 73 when i was born and it was made the same month and year i was born, i grow up with this ranchero till 99 i sold it to a guy i know and he was going to fix it up. but never did he put it in the woods where it sat till last weekend. i bought it back and i had to cut a tree out of the engine bay that was 30+ feet tall, dragged it out of the woods, the floor pans need replacing and interoir gone and it has some rust but i can fix that. but the hood has is gone to rust where he laided in the sand. the rad support is rotted away some metal fab i think i can make a new one the tail gat is still in the bed and the face is good i dont know about the back side the bed still looks soild, i have to go get the truck this weekend from my dads, the truck means more to me then anything and i realy wnat to fix it back, it can with a 302 but it is gone i have another 302 i will rebuild but i want the most HP out of it i can get so i need help on that deal and any help on parts or old scrapped parts. i can not find any parts for this lie i can other cars i did find dearborn classic parts, but i can not find any more compaines making parts? i know he has another that is in good shape but my 10 year old daughter wnats that one for herself and she is a great helper she loves to do body and engine work with me. so i am trying to get that one for her. i live in NC and i need some help on ideas and where to look for parts. thanks again for your time there members
