Ford Ranchero The Ford Ranchero was a coupe utility produced between 1957 and 1979 based on full-size, compact and intermediate automobiles by the Ford Motor Company for the North American market. Variations based on the original 1960 US Falcon for home markets in Argentina and South Africa were produced through the late 1980s. A total of 508,355 units were produced.

Default What tire size options do I have?
Time to put new tires (and maybe wheels) on my 1961 Ranchero. The rotted ones in front are 195/60R14 and 215/60R14 in rear. These are on Cragar Mags, but the chrome is peeling on them anyway, so I am considering new wheels, too.

What are my size options? Can/Should I get larger wheels? I will probably want to upgrade front brakes next year.

This is going to be my daily driver and its built 289, 4-speed Toploader, and 9-inch will let me get some performance out of it, I would think!
