i got a friend that has a 2003 ranger 3L 5 speed 4x4. he just put a cluch, pressure plate, bearings, and slave cylinder. now the clutch is not engaging all the way. does he need to replace the master or just bleeed the system? if bleeding is needed is there a trick to it? only thing i ever worked on is ext. slaves.....thanks

yeah slave cylinder usually needs bled, they are somewhat of a self bleeding system, but usually we just let the fluid run copletely through the line to the slave cylinder then drive it throught the country for a little time to bleed the slave cylinder, also verify your master cylinder is full of fluid
