99 ranger 4wd problem

99 ranger 4wd problem

Ford Ranger More than two decades ago, the Ford Ranger debuted as an answer to various compact pickup trucks being made available by Japanese automakers. The Ranger was cleanly styled and offered with a choice of a 6-foot or 7-foot bed. Ford boasted that the Ranger had more interior room than the best-selling imports and that 4-by-8-foot construction material could be carried in the bed.

haleno Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Lincoln County Nevada Posts: 2	99 ranger 4wd problem so i have this 99 ford ranger and i do alot of off roading. so I use my fourwheel drive almost every day. well i was at the bottom of this hill and flipped the switch to 4hi and i heard something click, as it always did, but as i went on i knew right away that it wasn't ingaged. so i stopped and tried it again, nothin. so i then tried 4low, the transfer case went and I could tell it was in 4 low but the front hubs won't ingage? any info would extreamly helpful. thank you __________________ Jordan 99 ford ranger 03 ford F-250 superduty
