| How to remove the 4X4 dash switch panel Hi,
First post so please be kind
I've got a 93 Ranger 4x4 4.0 liter 5 spd. I love the truck and bought it with 217000 miles. It runs great.
My first question....
The dashboard lights for the 4x4 switch is out and needs replacement. Is there a trick to getting that small panel out easily to swap out the light(s)?
Thanks |

I am not sure how it is on the dash, but I am guessing it is held on by some pressure clips. Where is it on the dash? Would it be possible to provide a picture?
Edit: That above picture looks right now.

| Autozone's website says that newer looking dash is from 93-97, but I don't trust em.

| I think it would be from a 89-94, but I'm not sure. All I can say for sure is they went to the first dash you posted in 95. So the 93-97 is wrong.

| That picture makes it look like you are going to need to remove the dash to pull it. I don't actually know though, sorry I can't help more.
