Tilting Steering Wheel = no left turn signal Whenever I signal for a left turn with the steering wheel tilted down, the dash left turn indicator blinks at 2X the normal rate (just as it would if a turn signal bulb were inop). Sure enough, the turn signal does not indicate externally. I hate to tear apart the steering wheel, and I do have one thought on this - my son recently replaced the stock radio with an aftermarket unit, and maybe he relocated some wiring that is affected when the wheel is lowered. I can lower it one setting and the turn signal still operates - any lower, and it is inop. Anybody seen this or have any thoughts? sam

Sounds like the terminal has broken the retainer in the hard shell connector to the multi-function switch. You should be able to purchase a connector or a pigtail, eitheway just remove the steering column cover to gain access.

Just wanted to share the fix with y’all. I took off the steering column covers (top & bottom) no tricks there. This allowed an easy viewing of a wire bundle on the very top of the column, close to the steering wheel. When I moved the column (tilt) I noted that one wire appeared to be moving. It was pulling out as the wheel lowered, and the exposed end was thus being disconnected from its proper location. I rerouted this blue and white wire so it would not be moved during tilt and used a couple pieces of electricians tape to hold it in place. Problem solved. sam

There's a place I know about, where the dirt road runs out, and we can try out the 4 wheel drive..come on now, what do you say?
I've got the perfect place in mind, it's in the middle of nowhere, only one way to get there, you got to get a little mud on the tires.
