| Do many RWD/2WD Rangers have LSD? I'm looking to replace my 2.3L 1995 Ford Ranger with something newer and more powerful some day. Anyone have any idea whether there are many RWD/2WD Rangers with limited slip differential? I'd rather have that than a 4WD, but the 4WD trucks are much more common. I have identified the axle codes, so I know what to look for if I get my hands on the truck, but looking at ads it is hard to tell. I was just wondering if this is worth searching for or I should just give in and get a 4WD.
Thanks
Sue |

| A 4.0 short bed 2wd may have it, look for nicer trucks, they probably got more options.

| I was looking for a L/S axle and found out most explorers have them but the best is 95-up cause they have rear discs. Also look for rangers that have the towing package, probaly best chance
unsure if you are doing a swap or just looking for a newer truck, but if your swapping in that axle you have to change the brake booster cause its not calibrated for disc rears(not enough pressure) |
