| | Guest | 1984 Ranger Engine Swap Need to know if an engine from a newer 2004 or 2005 Ranger will bolt into a 1984 Ranger. I know this sounds weird but someone asked me to check, so! Thanks | |

| I would imagine You would probably have to be prepared to carry over the computer and tranny as well as maybe changing motor mount location. Kinda a general response, but anything can be done w/ enough money. The best bet would be to buy a whole totalled Ranger from the desired model year that has a working drivetrain. Good luck. |
