Ford Ranger More than two decades ago, the Ford Ranger debuted as an answer to various compact pickup trucks being made available by Japanese automakers. The Ranger was cleanly styled and offered with a choice of a 6-foot or 7-foot bed. Ford boasted that the Ranger had more interior room than the best-selling imports and that 4-by-8-foot construction material could be carried in the bed.

Default 87 Ranger died under accel

My 87 4X4 manual Ranger suddenly died while shifting through 3rd. and will not restart. Already checked the inertia switch, cks ok, fuel pumps run [both of them], cranks as it should but no start. It has been running with no issues, what ever happened was adbrupt and fatal.... any thoughts??
Where can I start looking for the failure? Don't want to do the "throw money at it until something works" thing.
Help !!>: !!
Thanks
