Hope someone can help me..I've had the battery checked and is good..Also put new terminals on..Continues to make a clicking sound when the key is turned..Could it be the starter relay or something else..Any help would be greatly appreciated..Hate to call a mobile mechanic... check the solenoid and if that's okay then it's probably the starter. my hubbie's truck is doing the same thing. We bypassed the solenoid and so that's the only other thing that could cause it that i know of. | |

| Starter Try giving starter a hard rap and if it starts then your starter bendix is sticking or your starter is beginning to fail and will fail at some point. |

| Usually the clicking or ticking is under the center of the car or towards the truck and happens usually when in motion and varying with road speed.
That means a U-Joint (rwd or 4wd only) in your drive shaft has finally run out of grease, is getting ready to fail.
Replace all the U-joints and keep the new ones greased regularly. |
