| | Guest | 1988 ranger no overdrive i have an 1988 ranger 2.9liter with an 4speed w/od automatic and when i go down the road i dont shift into overdrive until atleast 65mph and i have no power and the motor is way overworking itself and keeps either blowing head gaskets or eats motors like candy any ideas? i know that this model has a cable instead of that kickdown linkage would that come into affect? | |
