Why won't my ranger start?

I own a '97 Ranger, 2.3, and it will not start. I have replaced the starter motor and silinoid. I have replaced the starter relay. I have replaced the clutch interlock switch. There is juice from the battery because I can turn the key and all the electrical works(radio, lights,wipers etc..). I can bump start it and I can take a screwdriver and start the engine by touching where the push on connector goes and the cable securing bolts on the relay. I kinda miss the convienence of starting it with just the key. SOMEONE, ANYONE, PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE OUT THIS PROBLEM!!!!! I am too cheap to have a shop figure it out and charge me up the wazoo.

thanks for the suggestion. i just replaced the ignition switch and it looks like all that it could be is a short. 3 daughters myself. no horses.
