Some electrical issues here . . .

Ford Ranger More than two decades ago, the Ford Ranger debuted as an answer to various compact pickup trucks being made available by Japanese automakers. The Ranger was cleanly styled and offered with a choice of a 6-foot or 7-foot bed. Ford boasted that the Ranger had more interior room than the best-selling imports and that 4-by-8-foot construction material could be carried in the bed.

Treeguy Junior Member Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 2	Some electrical issues here . . . I have a 2000 Ford Ranger Ext. Cab 4x4 (4.0L V6) and it sat from Nov to middle of March as the tranny went out. I did my best to keep the condensation down but lost the battle. I finally put in a used tranny and upon driving I noticed a few issues. 1) I turn knob over to 4Hi or 4Lo . . . and nothing lights up on dash or clicks from underneath near t-case . . . before this I NEVER had a problem with it. 2) Open door & no interior light comes on & the door chime doesn't sound for very long. 3) Auxilliary 12V plug in doesn't work either. 4) Power windows no longer function. I called Ford and asked for locations of all 4x4 related fuses & power window related fuses & checked them and nothing . . . the door locks work fine, not sure where to proceed next. Any info would be appreciated . . .
