Where is the door switch that controls the dome light? | |

don't know what year you have but on most cars, including my 86 ranger, it's on the inside part of the cab. where the front inside part of the door can hit it when you shut the door. usually just a little bar that sticks out that you could push in with your finger when the door is open. | |

the latch is in the actual door latch mechanism where it closes and latches. Make sure you lube it because it can get stuck open a little and keep you dome light on. |
