| | Guest | How big of a tire can I get? Hi, everyone! Just signed up! I have a 1997 Ranger XLT Standard Cab with a 4.0L V6. I admit total ignorance of vehicles with the exception of oil changes and radiator flushes. I'm about to replace my originals (195 70 R14) and was curious just how tall and wide of a tire I can safely put on. Available funds say that I have to stick with the 14's, although I realize that the pickings are very slim. I'm looking at some Liberator A/T's through Walmart online---215 70 R14. Will these fit? Is there something taller and/or wider that will fit? I don't have a clue. If ignorance is bliss, then I'm the happiest man on earth! Someone please give me some insight! Thanks! P.S. I'm trying to keep it under $60 per tire! | |

| | Guest | Go with a 215/75/R14, all Rangers ive seen with 14 tires have lots of wheel well room to fill, the 75 is a taller tire, hope this helps. | |
