Ford Ranger More than two decades ago, the Ford Ranger debuted as an answer to various compact pickup trucks being made available by Japanese automakers. The Ranger was cleanly styled and offered with a choice of a 6-foot or 7-foot bed. Ford boasted that the Ranger had more interior room than the best-selling imports and that 4-by-8-foot construction material could be carried in the bed.

Default Left side lower than right

I put new leaf springs under my 94 Ranger today but the driver side is still lower than the left. Its about 1/2 inch low on the driver side front and 1 inchlow on driver side rear.Would shocks being woreout cause this difference? Thanks

probably not the shocks, but weak and old springs will, the only thing shocks do is dampen and absord oscillations (bouncing) from the springs. Springs would set the ride hieght of your car. Has your truck ever been in an accident? Have you ever dropped a heavy weight on the corner of the bed causing the frame to warp?

3/4" is considered normal by Fords standards.
If the shims are still avalible here is the part numbers
Ft. goes under ft spring 389117-S2
Rear. E37A-5742-AA
I'm not sure if you will find them anywhere thou

The Ford manual says to add 1/2" to the left side measurement than if it is within 3/8" it is normal
