| | Guest | How do I fix OBD code 1443 I am looking for help on what I need to repair the following code:
1443
Evaporative Emission Control System
Vacuum System, Purge control solenoid or vapor management valve malfunction.
How do I diagnose it further, or is it easier to replace parts?
What parts (numbers) would I need and what are the estimated costs...
Thanks,

| Hi,
I have a '98 ranger 4x4 3.0 liter, and my ranger has the OBD II system. The code that I am getting is P0455 Evaporative Emissions Control System Leak Detected. I was wondering if anyone has ran into that code, and if anyone has any suggestions where to look or what typically goes bad? I haven't been able to find much information about the EVAP system. I would appreciate any information from anyone or sources of information.
Thanks,
Scott |
