Ford Ranger More than two decades ago, the Ford Ranger debuted as an answer to various compact pickup trucks being made available by Japanese automakers. The Ranger was cleanly styled and offered with a choice of a 6-foot or 7-foot bed. Ford boasted that the Ranger had more interior room than the best-selling imports and that 4-by-8-foot construction material could be carried in the bed.

appreciate the hope for good luck but i feel you were speaking another language. 15 years old, i am sure a seal somewhere would be the blame, especially after baking in the CA desert heat. i understand now about the how, but i dont drive too fast, OR laws are retarded. highway speed is 55! will look into the rear window and get back. thanks!

there is a third brake light above the split window, also sealed with the waterproof gook, if that is what you were asking about the marker lite?

I had water coming in through the heater box from the cowell opening. I removed a small cover on the drivers side of the firewall (three screws) and hosed out the drain for the cowell. I also pulled the antenna and was able to clean the drain on the passengers side by spraying through the hole;. Hope this helps someone cure water problems on the front floor. (92 Ranger Super cab)

rgraves - did you fix the problem?

I have the same with my 92 Ranger. Every time it rains there's water on the floor boards.

I always thought it to be the door seals but they're pretty pricey to replace, so I'm glad to hear that's not the case.
