Ford Ranger More than two decades ago, the Ford Ranger debuted as an answer to various compact pickup trucks being made available by Japanese automakers. The Ranger was cleanly styled and offered with a choice of a 6-foot or 7-foot bed. Ford boasted that the Ranger had more interior room than the best-selling imports and that 4-by-8-foot construction material could be carried in the bed.

Question No Manual-Need Fuse Panel Info

I am new to this site. I have been reading the threads for the last 2 hours trying to find help with my problem...no luck, so I decided to make my first post!

I have a 93 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 that I bought used last year for a work vehicle. It didn't come with the owner's manual. My horn won't work and I thought I would start by checking the fuse to see if that is the problem. However, when I pulled the cover off the fuse box below the steering wheel, all I found on the diagram were numbers and a note telling me to consult the owner's manual! I went to the Ford website, but they only go back as far as 1996 with their online manuals.

So, if someone could please give me a link for an online manual, I would really appreciate it. Or send me a diagram of the fuse panel that is labeled with words...or, at least, tell me what fuse # the horn is!!!

Thanks!

P.S. I really like this forum. Most of the technical stuff is over my head since I only know basic car maintenance (change oil/filters, check fluids/belts, etc.) but I have learned a lot in the last 2 hours. I'm having a little trouble with the transmission (?) and the 4x4. I saw some things on here that I might try. If they don't work, I'll be back with more questions.
