| Blower Motor Housing Full of Leaves Does anyone know of a way to kept leaves out of the blower motor housing. I pulled the just the fan motor tonight from the housing & cleaned out most of the leaves trapped there. It looks like the entire housing can be removed but I'm not sure. I wondering where the air intake is for the blower motor. If it's next to the vents around the windshield wipers then I just don't get it. Those holes are very small or should not allow the size leaves I'm getting in my blower unit. You can hear the fan chopping up the leaves. This will be the second fan motor unit I have repaced in 2 years. Any suggestions on keeping these leaves out of the unit.. Maybe installing a small screen somewhere. But where?? Thanks. |
